Atwood Jewelers-Moving To new Location!
Formerly, knows as Repair Palace. Established in 1983 as a watch and jewelry repair shop in Saugus, MA, the Repair Palace was the creation of Robert Atwood Sr., a retired Sears employee who had more than 25 years experience managing the Sears jewelry department in Saugus.
Atwood, a Waltham School of Watchmaking graduate, was also the in-house watchmaker for Sears prior to moving into the position of manager/buyer for their jewelry department.
Today his son Bob, part of the business since its inception, owns and operates the original store in The Square One Mall in Saugus.
In 1993 Atwood opened a second store as a licensed -business within Sears at The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH, which has been run by his son Scott for the last 20 years.
In 1998 the trilogy was completed with the opening of the third business, a kiosk at the Mall at Whitney Field in Leominster, MA, operated by his daughter Joanne.
Started initially as a watch and jewelry repair shop (hence the name Repair Palace) the 3 stores have evolved over the last 20 years and now also offer a huge selection of jewelry dating from before the turn of the century right up through today’s fashions, and the repair side of the business is stronger than ever.
